“Nothing will help you more to hold fast to the iron rod than worshipping in the temple as regularly as your circumstances permit.”

He continues by promising that temple worship brings protection, strengthens testimony in Jesus Christ, brings peace in pain, and “open[s] the heavens.”

“Whenever any kind of upheaval occurs in your life, the safest place to be spiritually is living inside your temple covenants!”

“As you come worthily and prayerfully to His holy house, you will be armed with His power.”

He also taught that in the temple, “our faith in Jesus Christ and our love for Him are confirmed and fortified.”

“We do not come to the temple to hide from or escape the evils of the world. Rather, we come to the temple to conquer the world of evil.”

He explains that through temple ordinances and covenants, we receive “strength beyond our own.”

“The Savior and His doctrine are the very heart of the temple.”

President Nelson teaches that temple ordinances bind us to Christ and that covenant keeping allows us to receive His “healing, strengthening power.”

“Everything that is learned and all that is done in the temple emphasize the divinity of Jesus Christ.”

“When we enter the Lord's house, we embark on a sacred journey of learning to become higher and holier disciples of Christ.”

“No matter the outcome, all will be well because of temple covenants.”

President Eyring originally said these words to his wife during the Teton Dam disaster and later testified of their broader truth.

“There is nothing more important than honoring the covenants you have made or may make in the temple.”

“As we attend the temple, there can come to us a dimension of spirituality and a feeling of peace.”

“The temple is the gateway to the greatest blessings God has in store for each of us.”

“I believe that no member of the Church has received the ultimate which this Church has to give until he or she has received his or her temple blessings.”

Quoting President Gordon B. Hinckley while teaching about temple ordinances.

“The end of all activity in the Church is to see that a man and a woman with their children are happy at home, sealed for eternity.”

“It is through the sealing covenants in the temple that we can receive the assurance of loving family connections that will continue after death and last for eternity.”

“When our hearts turn to our ancestors, something changes inside us. We feel part of something greater than ourselves.”

He explains that our longing for family connection is fulfilled as we are linked to our ancestors through temple ordinances.

“As we touch the temple, the temple will touch us.”

“No sacrifice is too great, no price too heavy, no struggle too difficult in order to receive those blessings.”

Speaking of the eternal blessings of the temple.

“Every sincere seeker of Jesus Christ will find Him in the temple.”

He promises that there we can feel Christ's mercy, find answers, and better understand the joy of His gospel.
